Anu Pande is an experienced educator with more than 19 years of experience. She has been associated with the Clark County School District since 1999. Her educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Science with a major in Chemistry / Biology and minor in Physics from APS University, Rewa, M.P (India), a Master’s in Education from University of Nevada, Las Vegas and specialist degree in School Administration from NOVA Southern Eastern University, Florida. Additionally, Anu Pande has the privilege of being the first teacher in the state of Nevada to have a fellowship with American Physiological Society, Washington DC.
She is a motivator and an educator whose goal is to see every child succeed and be a productive citizen. Her vision has always been to build a school culture and educational program conducive to student learning and development, and to create a safe and secure 21st Century environment. She encourages good moral values, integrity, creativity, and out-of-box thinking to promote excellence in academics.
Due to her student-centered approach, she has won several best educator awards in Clark County School District (CCSD). She is honored by UNLV several times as the teacher who inspires the most, based on her student’s nominations. As an educator with immense capabilities, she has developed many educational programs to train teachers and students. She is member of the CCSD Science Cadre, the liaison for RPDP, Advanced Placement Biology Professional Communities teacher Leader, a presenter and supervisor for the ALTA (Teacher Licensure program) for CCSD.
With her rich experience, multifaceted personality and many well-rounded qualities, she is sure to serve the Friends of India organization and the Indian community of Las Vegas.
